to the spreadsheet editors out there, the Mclelland's cheddar 400g is being reduced at Tesco from tomorrow (4/4)to £2 to match Mr A! so watch out if you plan to buy it soon...

Also, quick q: has anyone given the voucher to the delivery driver of an online order? and if so do you give them the original note as well or they just need to see it? I have a large voucher of close to £100 from all of this started and I need to use it, but would rather place an order for this amount... advice?? thank you!

but....the difference was £21+. remember that this is doubled!

so potentially, you could have gained a DTD voucher for £42. but, due to the £20 cap, you only received a £20 voucher.

therefore you've missed out on £22 that you could have had if you had split the shopping into 3 seperate transactions.

just a note for your future shops!

    :)

    Oh sh:p

What an idiot I am - do you know I thought that yesterday, but have been so busy this morning - when I looked at the amount on the receipt, I completely forgot to double it - what a donkey.

Yes - quite obviously it was my first proper dtd shopping - always have done dtd on misprices - very stingy with supermarkets and always check receipts!!!!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for reminding me the error of my ways!!!!!

don't worry, we all make mistakes! :)

for any other newbies to this DTD deal, i strongly suggest that you do a small shop first. a £10-£15 shop max i'd say! make sure they contain DTD items ONLY, none of your normal/essential bits 'n' bobs. put that through as a seperate transaction.

People on here go mad if anyone says they've thought about using the same receipt again. I constantly see people talking about using different email addresses, paying cash, going to different stores, not using their clubcard, etc. People are going to great lengths to get around the £100 limit, which is no less of a violation of T&C's as using the same receipt again.
I know it's naughty but I've never been lucky with anything before:A
Can they trace it back to me or will the bar code scan as already used?

    Hi there
Went dtd shopping yesterday and the uoung lad on the till gave me my receipt back - not signed!
Anyone reused an unsigned receipt, or should I not try it?

Nothing to do with moral superiority - but you really already know the right answer to that question don't you?
