She had problems with the missing digit and the wrong time.... so I was there a while. She was chatty though and asked how I did the dtd. Had to explain how to input receipt details and suggested she gave it a go too.
Anyway, she told me it was about to be pulled as tesco had had no idea how much money they would lose when they started the promotion. She told me that some folks were making hundreds from it. I tried to look suitably shocked.
Of course it could all be rubbish but I can't see how they can carry on with this.
Well this may be what my sa was meaning. It was an email the manager got. So perhaps if something is on rollback in asda it won't count.
But how do they define "on offer"?weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0 -
Hi Starlights I have successfully submitted a RECALLED TRANSACTION receipt no problems. The self service till messed up so sales manager put through another till had to change tills & new receipt was created.0

Shop one - A vs T

& now add - A vs S

i also got told today in store if it an item is bogof and you do not take the free one it will not be added to dtd because people are apparently targetting tescos to get free shopping
i said i am sure that is not true maybe they just dont see the bogof signs or forget to pick it up.;)0 -
Tesco'ism for me today - not allowed to use DTD voucher if your shopping is exactly the same again...
Brilliant idea - that'll really fox us!DFW Nerd #1310 -

:rotfl:lol... The Tesco Price Check = If things are cheaper at Asda, we'll exclude them from our guarantee:rotfl:0 -
So Tesco have reduced the cap on each voucher from £100 to £20 and now they are allegedly going to only offer the already ridiculously capped DTD on stuff that isn't on offer in Asda? :rotfl:
Next restriction may be only granting DTD if you shop on a day that doesn't contain the letter Y?0 -
