    think it's supposed to be 16.7p per can as opposed to 6p. :p

    have there been better DTD deals though with these types of beverages?

    Not too far off it with the Guinness
    Guinness Original 4X440ml Cans £5.29 vs £3.00, cost after DTD = 18p/can
  • That's what I ended up with sadly :-( Ah well, it'd best be a nice £10 wine (usually reserve that figure for wine strictly for nights out only!).
    **WARNING**

    just popped to Tesco to get 2xbottles of the Nobilo wine

    in my store there is another v. similar wine a shelf along which i found first

    It's in a golden-labelled bottle at approx £10.80 and is also 'Nobilo Malborough Sav. Blanc' but 'special edition'

    I found the other one but it did confuse me for a minute

    just noticed this- don't know if anyone's tried it?

    Jack Daniels Whiskey & Cola (4x33cl) £7.79 vs £6.00 so DTD of £3.58 cost of £4.21

    Well that's my evening wrecked thanks to my beloved daughter deciding to fracture her wrist and spending 3 hours in casualty. Didn't she know I had plans tonight for an extra fix!!:mad:;)

    Anyway. Sitting in casualty I heard I guy near enough begging his wife, if he could pop to Tesco's for 20 minutes. My twisted mind was thinking that he was a DTD'er but it didn't seem the right place to ask. :o:T

    On the way back I did pop in though. All the other tills were closing, so had to go to Self Service. Didn't want to but had no choice. The girl was great but for the second time today (different girl and store) had to void my shop and deal with it on another till, which she opened for me.

    Now that's my ramblings.....................After Eight anybody? ;)

    also;

    Southern Comfort Lemonade & Lime (275ml) £1.75 at asda or 3 for £4 vs £1.99 at Tesco

    so for 3 £4 vs £5.97 ... DTD of £3.94 so cost of £2.03

    maybe good for picnics?

    3 x G = £15.87
    3 x PF = £5.55
    Total = £21.42

    DTD = £21.84, £20 cap, nice Friday night in with snacks for real cost £1.42?
