Ignore the Clowne one, we have had numerous run in's with SA's there. Last night they refused to accept mine (went just after 10 P.M) so customer services was closed. She said the numbers were different on the receipt to the voucher, and pretty much accused me of forgery/fraud.

With only one till open in the shop, everyone was queueing at my till - so it held everyone up...............

Rang to complain to Tesco's today who are looking in to it

Ive been a handful of times always just after school 4ish and they were okay - noone had a clue what they were but just went off to supervisor who said yes just scan in and deface old receipt

2 glasses each? u never mentioned that on the invite , i withdraw my acceptance

He's got a point: half a bottle each minimum and preferable a few more bottles, you can't really be stingy at these DTD prices, go get'em.

abit worried about how i will get 30 bottles when only being able to get 2 or 3 at a time, because obviously would have to do it over the course of a few days, and knowing my luck they will change the prices! would it matter if i did end up with different ones or is it best to try and keep them all the same?

no clue when it comes to wine or weddings lol

    You've fallen into a trap there :D

You can buy as many bottles (in 3s to maximise the vouchers) as you like - with cash! Get the money back with DTD...

...later! Buy 35-50 bottles today! Ask bank of Mum & Dad to lend you the money?

    Simples

Cheers. Has this been coming back with a DTD so far?

Incidentally where's you Tetley Tea Bags? ;)

    Tetley Softpack 160 Teabags 500G
    Tesco £3.88
    Asda £ £2.00 :D

I can confirm both the Lynx Rise and Cool Metal shower gels :)
  • Why o Why are stores still not understanding the printing mistakes on the voucher from the receipt. 06.30am and have 3 yes 3 members of staff including the DUTY MANAGER who had never seen a voucher before, refuse it.
    Help who do I contact.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

The cashier in Allerton, Liverpool tonight said that this price checker is going to end soon (although she had no clue what to do with my receipt after)! I couldn't even see any advertising for it in store anymore either.

    Is this the end?

That cashier knows more than the Tesco Marketing Brains who just confirmed the promotion's here to stay :D

Probably just another jealous cow :rotfl:

If you can go in during the day, they should have a bit more idea, if you've got names of people i'd contact head office as well, in fact i'd contact them regardless and suggest retraining for the staff.

Thank you! Was thinking it was rather a waste of colour inc - wouldn't mind but ink isn't even DTD!

I really want to see a 'real life' DTDer too! I was too panicky today spending my 1st vouchers to focus on anything but my own DTDing but tomorrow I will be on the look out :D:rotfl:

I'm the only one round here, every single time I use a voucher it's the first time they've ever seen one!

:D Not strictly true as on 2nd visit I target the same cashier if possible as they now make iot nice & easy.

that we are having trouble with receipts as numbers arent matching and instead of using 24 hour clock they are using 12 hour clock etc and see if we can get an official response back from customer care that we can print off and take with us to store in case of issues? Id do it myself but not on facebook!
