Made a complete mess of a shop today - one of the Air wicks with a SEL of £8+ scanned through at £1.25! It's £4 in Asda so my DTD will be virtually wiped out!

    £6.99/£4.67 DTD £4.67

yep i bought it monday got the voucher yesterday, bought it again today can confirm when i get the voucher (tomorrow) if you like.
  • Need to go and get some things we actually "need" tomorrow, rather than just things which we use but wouldn't necessarily buy right now but can't pass up because of DTD.

Has anybody seen any particularly good DTD deals for washing powder/liquid/tablets? Also kitchen/bathroom cleaners and surface cleaners...

    Thanks! :D

just found another new one to try tomorrow

Rubicon 1lt cartons 2 for £2 in asda - £1.48 each in t, so buy 2 and get £1.96 back costing £1.04 for 2 cartons.
I like this so will be treating myself and hoping the dtd pays up.

PS only buy 2 any more and the 3 for £3 would come in and the dtd will be effected

  • Ah thanks for that, I've got a small voucher for about £6 so could use for that + lunch for work tomorrow! :D

Unless any DTD deals crop up between now and then...

Well, just back from Tesco and had my first encounter with a narky SA. Put through my shopping and it came to less than my voucher (Lucozade Energy on offer 2 for £5 but no SEL in my store). Anyway, had to think quick and said, that I would run and get a loaf.
GIQ (guy in queue behind me) - Just buy a bottle of wine
Me - I've already got plenty of wine at home thanks :rotfl:
Came back from getting my loaf to hear -
GIQ- yeah, you buy things you know are dearer here than Asda to get a voucher. It's on the internet, some folk are claiming hundreds.
SA- I don't see the point in that, it's stupid! Why not just buy your shopping in Asda, the money you're getting back makes it the same price as them.
Me- No, Tesco gives back double the difference.
SA- I still don't see the point.
GIQ- It's the consumer taking back after all this time. I've got heaps of receipts at home, must go and check them.
SA scans voucher, does not sign receipt
Me - you have to sign the receipt
    SA - Why??
Me - so it can't be used again.
SA - but I've got the voucher!!
Me - Yeah but they can be printed off again.
SA - We get no training in this!
GIQ - Who's shopping is this then? (points at my second lot)
SA - Hers!! She's probably got another voucher!
GIQ - Good for you, take them for every penny!
SA then mutters under her breath 'You've got far too much time on your hands to be able to do this!'
    Me - Pardon me?
    SA - doesn't matter!
I then bid them both a cheery goodbye :D
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist
