Are Tesco commiting fraud by doubling prices and then telling us we are getting 2 for 1? or by doubling prices then halving them and telling us we are getting them half price?
So your post above is absolute rubbish, thats is just your opinion.
Nope they are acting with the law, however immoral their actions may seem.
However, buying an item, getting the voucher then taking it back for a refund is deception. You can argue till the cows come home but its not an opinion, its the law and if caught will get you a criminal record.
But you will of course do as you please anyway and probably screw this up for everyone else just like the people who use the vouchers twice or who alter them in paintshop or whatever.
Its a good deal anyway, why do some of you have to go and spoil it cos you are either too lazy or too greedy to play by the rules?
I won't waste my time replying again.0 -
Has anyone tried getting Cathedral City Lighter 350g? £4.50 Mr T, £3 Mr A... only two though as they're now B1G2F in Mr T!
Does that not work out the same price per block though?
Buy 2 in Mr T pay £9, buy 2 in Mr A for £6 so DTD of £6 making it £3 for 2 blocks in Mr T or £1.50 per block. If you just bought the Mr T offer you would pay £1.50 per block. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Returning an item purchased using a DTD voucher is covered quite clearly by the T&C's:
Returns- Where an item on a receipt is returned, Tesco reserves the right to invalidate the whole receipt for the purposes of Price Check or where a Price Check voucher has already been obtained, invalidate the voucher.
- Where an item on a receipt is returned and a Price Check voucher has already been redeemed in relation to this receipt, any refund offered for the item may be offered net of the Price Check voucher's value.
- Where an item is purchased using a Price Check voucher and the item is subsequently returned, any refund will be offered by way of a Tesco money card only.
- Returns will not be accepted because a product is not matched on Price Check.
- The Returns Policy does not affect the customer's statutory rights.
Not including an item which ASDA clearly sells and refusing to match that price could also be seen as fraud/deception.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

Please quote the exact law.
The receipt that has to be shown when you return an item says on it whether the purchase was made by coupon or otherwise so staff are aware, so what is the deception?French_Knickers wrote: »I won't waste my time replying again
