Just back from Tesco.....I'm a bag of nerves, so have poured myself a nice glass of Jacobs Creek wine :D
Incidentally the Jacobs Creek Semillon Chardonnay is £3.64 reduced from £7.29. It is very nice & I don't think Asda sell it so it wouldn't affect the DTD.

    Split my shopping in 2.

    1st shop

    3 x Lynx shower @ £2.35
    3 x Frizz ease serum @ £5.00
    Creme Bath £0.55

    £22.66 paid £20.00 DTD voucher & £2.66 cash.

    2nd shop

    J. Creek Semillon Chardonnay £3.64
    4 x Harpic Power @ £1.70
    2 x Phileas fogg Salt & Balsamic Vinegar £1.85
    2 x Greated Cheddar
    2 x kale @ £0.97
    brocolli £0.55
    2 x Jamie Oliver sausages @£2.99
    Cadbury caramel biscuits £1.62
    Carrots £0.76

    Total £28.69 Paid cash.

They kept the original receipt for the DTD voucher, I wasn't bothered.

Couldn't find the Vina Sol wine, was going to buy 1 bottle to try. It is normally with the Other European wine, it wasn't there so checked the whole aisle.....:(

Thats just not on i think you will spoil it for others and i will say its fraud i would keep that to my self i would never never do that

if you are charged more at the till than the shelf price then it is your duty to go to customer services and tell them, what about the people that get to the till and have to suffer the problem of not having enough on them to pay for their shop. tesco get a chance to fix the problem and you get rewarded for your help. completely separate from the price check DFD policy and perfectly fair to use both. If they have not fixed it 24 hours after I tell a supermarket about a problem I like to buy that item again and go to customer services and tell them again. get rewarded for helping them out again and doing my part to help other customers.
  • Yeah but wanna do a nice hot toddy with some 12 year old Glenfiddich so need the powders. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm a heathen, and proud of it too! :rotfl:

    Thanks though. :)

I bought a bottle of the 12 year old Glenfiddich yesterday (Monday) but I just noticed today that asda have changed their price to 32.97. I haven't received a coupon yet so not sure whether it will count towards dtd.
