have you retried your till info on the website? some people dont get a email like me and ent and checked and my voucher was waiting for me.0 -
My message was polite though; yours was quite rude, if I may say so.
I don't want to get involved in any fights here, life's too short.... but when I first read Tara's post I actually thought how nicely she had worded it! I did think she was being polite about it. I've seen people ripped to shreds for their spelling on other boards so I thought this was actually quite gentle and well-meant. I don't think she intended any offence.0 -
BTW.... if anyone gets stuff they dont want.. dont ditch it give it to your local food bank just search on yahoo
Why don't tescos seem to donate though? (I am willing to be corrected on this 1 if I am wrong and they do)
I was in mine at about 10pm last night & they were bagging up bread from the bakery section into massive purple-pink bin bags with "not fit for human consumption" written on. They then threw the bags into the cages they use when shelf stacking - it came to 3 cages full.
It made me feel sick to see all that just going to waste:("You've got to cut your cloth to suit your wassname" Terry (my Dad), 1944-present0 -
How is everybody explaining why they only want 1 item when it's bogof?
With great difficulty! :rotfl: I usually just say 'oh, I only need one', or 'it's at the other end of the store, I can't be bothered going to get it' (but watch out, they may offer to send a runner to get it! )m0nkeymrs01 wrote: »Hi All, I have only started reading this thread today and think I am getting the hang of how this works, but I just wanted to check a couple of things... does this work on online orders?
Yes, but it's far quicker and more convenient to go instore if people's stories are anything to go by. Some have waited over a week to be reimbursed for their vouchers. Also, you risk prices changing between the order date and the delivery/'picking' date so your DTD may be affected. My thanks to however posted the link to the facebook discussion board. It seems that there is a problem with the Beaumont Leys store, so I suggest posting on there to anyone else with problems.0

Just come back from tesco with my OH, never again!!! Gave him a basket and filled it with dtd stuff, gave him voucher for £20 and told him to take it to the till...make sure they sign reciept and give it back (simple enough?) as we are walking to till he says loudly for all to hear "hope your not ripping tesco's off illegally", by this time i'm screaming at him through gritted teeth to shut up as its not illegal. Off he trots to till, im at the one next to him, can hear him say to the bloke "my wife said to give you this, you have to sign it and give it back". All good, i hand mine in on my basket full, use my co-op £5 off and my £20 voucher. Get home and ask him for reciept for the shop he just did and he proudly produces the signed one...ok and the other one for the shop we just did? "ummmm oh didnt know you needed that one i put it in the bin on our way out the store"
Cant believe he threw £20 in the bin grrrrrrrr:mad:
What is it with men and simple instructions!:A You may be only one person in the world,
