What's the toilet roll DTD? Is it the value stuff? I know I'm terrible, but I can't use it. I am 100% MSE but everyone has some things that they can't compromise on and one of mine is loo roll. I only use Tesco own brand, nothing too fancy - but it makes a difference.

I always buy it on offer mind!!!! :) Usually 16 rolls for £4ish. Which actually works out the same per roll as the value ones now that they're £1 for 4!!!! I remember when 4 value rolls were about 40p.

I brought one pack of the value Tesco one for a £1 to try the DTD, it worked, but hubby said "I know you are saving money but can we have our normal loo roll back please!!!" I think he thinks he has a babies bottom :) All I can say it is quite rough on the behind, but everyone to their own....
