  • Think so but runs in contradiction about the back of the receipt which states 'If you change your mind about your purchase, please retain your receipt and return it to the store with the product as sold within 28 days. Conditions apply to some products, please see instore for details. Your statutory rights are not affected.'

So I think the key is that if you return something it is not simply because it wasn't pricechecked???
    is this new? t's&c's

30.Returns will not be accepted because a product is not matched on Price Check.

    what should i do?

the sa are meant to sign and keep the reciept, but my reciept has a proof of purchase for a food blender on it. i need that as its the guarentee. any ideas?

You can say so, and ask them to sign it and give it back to you.
i dont have an asda close to me.. and even if i did i still wouldnt bother going to the hassle just to screw one company over another, its obvious some items will always be cheaper in other stores and to base your entire shopping list over whats cheaper where is quite silly.. carry on buying those magnums which you may not have bought otherwise and see the effect on your diet!

Meow indeed! :rotfl: Fair enough, you may not want to join in the DTD fun, but the rest of us are more than happy to carry on. More on the shelves for us anyway! :D

p.s. to anyone returning items because DTD didn't come up trumps, just say you got the wrong thing or your OH got it :rotfl: - most female CS staff will believe that!
