You can also try local homeless & refugee centres they are always looking for donations of this sort.

Sincerest apologies if this is deemed to be inappropriate or slightly off topic but this might be useful for anyone else who has unwanted toiletries & cosmetics.

Thanks for this I looked on their site and there is a drop off point a ten minute drive from my house. Going to gather up a load of toiletries tonight

Yup - mostly toiletries for me plus fabric conditioner and of course a few bottles of wine:)
