  • I think the Bacardi effect has messed up my dtd skills the last couple of visits. Terry's all gold came back n/a and the alberto vo5 I foolishly bought with two cucumbers (which were cheaper in Tesco) and it ba**sed up my dtd.

Still, Im not really moaning, my other vouchers bring my revolving pile in my purse to a grand total of £75 ish. Recycle a couple more today although I was well and truly trouted last night.

Night shift manager was called to my till as young (untrained it would seem) girl did not know how to process my asda price guarantee voucher of £4.26 and £1.12 (from previous day's wombling) - night shift (perhaps I should omit the "f"?) manager who argued that Tesco had NEVER EVER taken Asda price guarantee vouchers, NEVER HAD, NEVER WILL despite her apparently being aware that they had banners on their car park saying they did. Stupid stupid stupid. Argh! She checked them in fine detail and then accused me of abuse as both receipts were from same day. Now I don't take that kind of accusation lightly and took her name and have taken it up with CS this morning. They confirmed to me on the phone that they are happy to accept Asda price guarantee vouchers (and no limit to amount) and have asked my store to ring me with an apology (hoping for giftcard). I argued with her since when was it a criminal offence to shop twice in any one day in the same store. It was of no concern of hers if I shopped (wombled ;)) twice in one day at Asda. The funny thing is I used two tesco vouchers, one after the other, at the same till (both from same day) and she didn't have anything to say about them. My first rotten experience in my dowdy Tesco for a long while.

But hey, Im back with a vengeance today, fuelled on cadburys heroes and lucozade - Im buzzing! Gonna make sure I get some really good dtd today - so trouty can blow it out of her ****!

ok...got several weeks of catch-up to do, but if anyone wants to use printable coupons with the DTD then dairylea cheese 50p from first page will cost 68p in Tesco (with coupon) and will give back a DTD of £1.36

Thanks vc. I have printed one off - I plan now to go back in tonight, ask for trouty-knickers, and present. As to the bit at the bottom that says "one per transaction" I will get enormous satisfaction from splitting my shopping into 6 little amounts and use one each. Nothing has inspired me more than this to continue my wombling.

If only the atomosphere instore was as cheery as their magazine layout/contents.

  • Uncrosses fingers, breathes sigh of relief and looks forward to a yummy roast beef Sunday dinner. ;)

Be careful with Florette salads if doing dtd as the crispy one is cheaper at Tesco than Asda. The mixed one is good to add a non dtd item to your shop and there is the printable 25p moc to use against it. :)

Excellent thank you. First attempt at using these resulted in denial and the cust services, subsequent attempts at same store have improved but other stores still deny knowledge.

  • really good printable/dtd combo.

Posted by dmtam on the Tesco dtd thread so thanks to him/her.

Air Wick Refills back to £3.54 each (no offer) in Tesco and 2 for £6 in Asda.

So,Buy 2 in T, use 2 x £1 printables from Air Wick and get the Refills in T for £5.08, DTD back from the guarantee £2.16, so total cost = £3.02.

Also, if you are not into dtd - Sainsburys have the round bowl scented candles at £2 so just £1 with the moc.
