Suspended staff colleague

Hi
A colleague of mine has been suspended and I have been asked to write up an account of the interview where he got told as I was also present.
I am going to do it but just wanted to check, should I be including any statement or caveat to ensure I am not held liable for what I say or that I am not roped in to the investigation.
I am not involved in any way shape or form, just wanted to not implicate myself.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

In what way would you implicate yourself? Just state the facts of what happened.Gone ... or have I?0

Did you take minutes during the meeting [ie were you informed that you were supposed to be writing the meeting up before it actually commenced]?If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

In what capacity did you attend?
Is it your colleague or management who have asked for a written account? Your remit isn't clear.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -

I would suggest getting someone else to write it, your post makes no sense at all, if it's to be part of someones disciplinary action it's important everything is clear and concise, if you were part of the disciplinary in informing them of the suspension really the minutes should have been written at the time not off memory at a later date, if not i'm not exactly sure why you would be present at the time.0
