No, if we were all the same, and liked the same things, shops would sell loads of things, and it would all be the stuff we like. They would not sell stuff we all dislike.

I personally can't see what the problem is with those cheap freezer meals, if you like the taste of them that is. I do a lot of cooking from scratch, big elaborate meals, but I also have a few cheapo convenience meals in the freezer, for those days when I just fancy something quick and stress free, and as you've said, you can bump it up with a few veg or roasties. I certainly wouldn't live on them, but it's nice to have a few in the freezer just in case.0
