Hi
I am very new to this site and have spent quite a lot of time on the debtfreewannabee forum.
I am looking to earn some extra income however it would need to be quite flexible as I study full time and work 8hrs a week as well as being a mum:)
Any ideas and tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hello
I have been in a similar situation and it is tough trying to fit anything else in when you are so busy. The following two things I have done over the years, neither earns a lot but sometimes a few pounds makes all the difference and they fit in well with everything else. I assume you have already checked out benefits, grants at your place of study, checked you are getting the best deals for gas, electricity etc?
Host a foreign student, pays about £90 a week and may not effect benefits,go for slightly older ones as they are usually allowed to get the bus on their own, sounds trivial but it's a real help when they have to get to school or go out in the evening. You can usually have more than one if they are from different countries.
Write letters to magazines or send in entertaining photos, can pay £50 or more. Collect up a range of magazines from friends, go to the library etc and see what the different magazines are looking for.
Hope this helps and good luck0 -
