Just remember, those aren't 'lost hours' .. i find working on a train very productive.. no internet, no colleges - just your own time to get things done. I've written some cracking code on train journeys.

Are you sure it'll 'only' be 4 hours? How long will it take you to get to the train station? How long to go from Euston to your new office? Travelling can be quite tiring also (i've 'commuted' from London to Dublin before, also London to Crewe)

just curious about seasons tickets so looked up the prices... crumbs 5-7k.... have to be earning extra 10-12k to make that worth it ... plus the stress of late trains, no seats etc etc

When I had a long commute (around 1h 45m each way) the last thing I would have wanted to do was work on the train! :rotfl:
