Landlords and Management Companies

I have posted here previously regarding anti-social tenants living above us.The good news is they have moved out, yippeeee. The bad news is i dread new ones coming in.I have tried and tried to get the landlord and management co to sort out the problems they were causing but they just wasn't interested. It is now at the stage where i have had blazing rows with them both.We have been subjected to stamping on the floor, banging walls, slamming doors, playing football in the flat etc,The list goes on and on.All i want to do is live peacefully in my flat and i know if the next tenants are as bad they will be allowed to get away with it.I refuse to get noise monitoring equipment in as i will have to declare to any new buyers if i sell. Why do they persist in letting there tenants live like animals and why will the Management co not get involved,it is written in the contracts regarding anti-social behaviour. What can i do to make them take action?

  • I wuold suggest that you wait until the new tennants are in and then worry if they are overly noisy. Your currently worrying about a non existent problem, the new tennants may be really nice.

They maybe,we had 16 months of hell with the previous ones. The problem is if the new ones are as bad then i have nowhere to turn
  • And how is worrying going to change that?
You hit a brick wall with the last lot of tennants what makes you think you are going to get a different solution with a new lot of tennants IF they are noisy
