Credit report-Equifax "not updated"?

Hi there

I've recently accessed by credit report from equifax. On several of my cards and bank accounts there is a U under some months. When I looked a bit further at the report it said these months were "not updated". I know that I have no late payments, defaults ect.

Does this just me the lender hasn't updated Equifax? On my experian reports those same months are showing green for satisfactory payments.

Does this have any effect of my credit rating?

I'm still trying to get my head around credit reports!

Hey,

I think this just means that the creditor hasn't supplied any updates to CRA. I have a few of them on my Equifax account as well although Experian don't seem to have the same problem.

It can also mean there was no activity on the account that month, for example a dormant bank account etc.
