Start and Lost In London are holding a Shwopping event
and you are invited

Shwopping is a Start initiative inspired by HRH The Prince of Wales to
encourage the reuse and recycling of clothes. Bring along up to five
quality items of clothing that you have grown tired of, and swap them for something new.

WHEN:Saturday 2nd April 2011

WHERE:St Mary's Church Community Centre

Stoke Newington

TIME:2.30PM-4.30PM

Come and join us for tea, scrumptious cake and some serious Shwopping.

    Books for Free Grand Opening On Saturday April 9th 2011

    WHEN :Saturday April 9th 2011

    WHERE:West 12 Shopping Centre,
    Shepherd's Bush Green
    London W12 8PP

    TIME:11-4PM

    Come and join Healthy Planet at the launch of their new Books for FREE store.

    Books for FREE saves books from going to landfill by redistributing them in the community for FREE.
    So come and get some books for FREE and give them a new home.
    If you have any books you don't want you are welcome to bring
    them along aswell.
    Also sharing our store in Shepherd's Bush Green is Furnish, the furniture re-use charity.

    There will be a wide range of activities on the day and Priyanka Patel, who stars as Dede in Sadie J, the new CBBC drama, will perform the opening ceremony.

    Books for Free was set up in July 2010, working with two other organisations to collect unwanted books from charity shops, libraries and publishers and giving them new homes around the country. So far we have saved 24 tonnes of books from landfill.
