I was on the phone for an hour and 10 mins before I hung up.

Cut a long story short if you add that to the facts already highlighted above this, the word Scam comes to mind.

    Avoid like the plague!!!

"0843 phone numbers cost up to five pence per minute at all times and certain ranges of 0843 phone numbers are charged at 3 to 5 pence."

    So 70mins at 3ppm = £2.10 and at 5ppm = £3.50.

    Not bad for doing nothing

  • well done everyone. another loan broker bites the dust.
  • Nope, afraid not. The website is up and running (looked this morning). I did some investigation after checking their 'credentials', or lack of. I thought I would apply & see what happened. They emailed me approval (having given slightly incorrect information) and said to transfer £35 as a refundable charge to cover any admin fees associated with transferring the money. I googled the account details given on the email. The details given in the email were of a Pre-Paid Eagle Mastercard - complete with 16 digit card number as the 'customer reference'. I contacted them to notify them of what was going on and they have apparently frozen the card.
