Starting my own small business.....

Hi
I am new to this and thought I would see if anyone had any ideas of names for a small second hand furniture shop in a large housing estate. I don't want it to sound cheesy, nor do I want it to sound ike it's something it's not.
Any ideas would be very welcome.
Thanks x

How about the second hand furniture shop

That's what people will refer to it as.

I don't mean to offend previous posters, but if people buy from you're shop and then tell other people, they won't say

"I got it from Twice Blessed"
"I got it from 2nd time around"
I got it from Odds & Sods"

They will say "I got it from the second hand furniture shop on the high street"

Or which ever street your shop is on.

And if they are sitting at home looking on the internet for scond hand furniture, they won't go to google and search for "Twice Blessed" or "2nd time around" or "Odds & Sods"

They'll search for a "second hand furniture shop" because that is what they want.

Edit: My spell checker says scond is a real word!

Sounds a more suitable name for a dating agency for recently divorced people...

In my town there are three small charity shops. Only one has any furniture, which tends to be one set of dodgy looking chairs and six wardrobes from the 1940s. There is one furniture shop on the edge of the town, bit pricey. A second hand furniture shop would do well here... there was one once, hidden away in a semi-derelict warehouse at the back of a tiny/hard to get into shabby yard, but he was !!!!!! at marketing so most people never knew about it.

Not everywhere's the same as where you live.
