Hi All,
We're very close to exchanging contracts on our first home but I just wanted to know when all of the deposit and solicitor fees have to be transferred in to their hands?
Thanks

10% of the purchase price must be with your solicitor before exchange. The balance of your deposit is due before completion. Taxes + fees is up to your solicitor. They might bill you before or after completion. TBH you might as well send everything before exchange and save yourself a few quid in CHAPS fees.0
