I hadn't heard about the problems until I read the article and I must say I'm quite surprised. Shudoo used to be my first port of call for uggs as they regularly had 20% off codes.

Hope everyone who is waiting for orders don't lose their money

I won £500 worth of shoes from them last year and ordered some Jumbucks at 50% off early this year, however they always had problems with their warehousing(well so they always said) and delivery always took forever.
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Well i am still waiting for a refund for £139.50 for 2 pairs of boots sent back to Shuddo. on the 11th february 2011. They told me to scan my proof of postage to them which i did. Since then they have totally ignored all emails and their phone lines have been switched off, probably because of all the complaints. I had a gut feeling the company must be in trouble and now it has been confirmed by the article on here and the statement on Shudoos web page. It is disgraceful that they have still been accepting orders from people up to today as they knew they could not fulfill orders.
  • Hi, I am new to this but I thought I would post to say that I have had trouble, I am waiting for three pairs of shoes for 4 weeks, same story after numerous emails, phone calls etc saying there was a delay due to warehouse relocation. I paid by debit card, spoke to my bank this morning and they have said they will definately be able to get my money back as they claim back off shudoo's merchant bank. I am with Lloyds tsb but if you are having trouble its worth speaking to your bank.:)

I am owed a £46 refund from Shudoo!!! Does anyone have any advice about how I will get this from them? I know its not a massive amount of money but I things are tight and I can't afford to lose it!! :(
  • >I purchased 6 pairs of Uggs different sizes colours etc to get an idea of what i wanted sent 4 pairs back no refund. Emailed them last night to ask when i can expect the refund and recieved an automated emailsaying the company was in trouble etc. This morning i recieved a letter titled "to all known creditors" with stuff about the company going into voluntary liquidation and forms for me to fill in reguarding what they owe me. I contacted my credit card company and they are investigating.

They owe me close to £600

Should i fill this form in or leave it to my card company to reclaim the cash? Im against filling the form in as it has a list of costs of being represented etc.

    Your help would be great
  • Sole traders? Who will foot the bill for this one? I blame the CEO. Heel have to go.

Apologies, it's all tongue in cheek of course - someone laced my coffee.

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those that don't.
  • I too am waiting for £127 refund for some Uggs that I sent back a month ago! It's a disgrace to continue taking money off people knowing they were going bust. I have taken it up with Partnership card in the hope that they can get my money back!
