Chicken and puff pastry!!

have been off sick for 2 weeks and taken to baking as a theraputic exercise!!( something ive not done for many years). made a chicken pie last week with ready made puff pastry, which the kids both loved. I was thinking of doing something like chicken parcels?, putting leftover chicken, mushrooms, bacon and onion into a puff pastry parcel and baking. can I put a bit of chicken soup in each parcel to moisten it or will it make my parcels go soggy?:(. any help or recipies would be greatfully appreciated, I have learnt so much from all you knowledgable people, and had fun trying out new recipies:j

i think the things you get in places like greggs the bakers have a white sauce inside them along with chicken and veggies, or maybe try a small amount of campbells condensed soup as it's nice and thick? i would think the trick is to have it quite thick and less is more as when it heats i would expect the sauce to loosen, thin and expand a bit?

agree on the thick idea. I usually make mine with a chicken stock pot, bayleaf and chicken seasoning. Thinken it up with corn flour and add to the meat

Instead of chicken parcels why not try individual chicken pies in a muffin tin or deep jam tart tin. You can line each hole, put in your filling and add a little soup. Put a pastry top on and it wont leak out.
