Hi,
I am going to get an Asda Photo Cake for my daughters 2nd Birthday.
What I would like to know is:
What format does the picture need to be in?
What size does the picture need to be?
Anything else?
I need to know because I have just been to Asda and tried to get one done, but I couldn't do it because there wasn't a slot to plug my usb into the cake machine and the picture was the wrong size when I printed it off to try and scan it in.
So at home tonight I am going to resize the picture in paint and save to a cd.
Thanks for any help!

I have had a couple of Asda photo cakes done. I went to the instant photo machine at my local Asda and printed off a 6" by 4" photo and then they put it on the cake with a border around it(if you want one). One of mine was on the normal size cake and the other was on the larger size cake that they do, both were successful though. One thing I would say though is that if you decide to have a picture on a choc cake it looks as if it isn't quite dry(the stuff they stick the photo on with shows up more than on the white iced one. Hope yours works as well as mine did xIf practice makes perfect, and nobody is perfect....................................
Why practice!:T0 -
I tried that, but my picture was the wrong size when I printed it off.
Anyway, we just bought a "normal" cake.
Thanks for the help though!0
