Hi all
I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't seem to find an answer.
I wrote to Roxburghe asking them for all historical data etc using the SAR template letter and enclosing a £10 postal order, and the 40 days is up tomorrow.
What is my next step if I do not hear back from them?

Send them another letter saying that they have failed to comply.
Give them another 7 days to do so, stating that you will take the matter to the Information Commissioner and may issue court proceedings if they do not.
There are various templates floating around, particularly on the reclaim boards I think?
However, it's a fairly basic letter to write from scratch.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

After not hearing back from Roxburghe I decided instead of sending another letter recorded delivery, I would email.
I have just heard back from them saying that my account with them is now closed!!!!!
I have replied asking where its gone and whos got the money that I have paid, ARGH b****y DCA do my head in:mad:

So most important thing - demand your £10 back if you get no response to the SAR! If they do not respond complain to the ICO and make sure they know you are making a complaint.
This is a bit of a result though, as if they have closed your account it would suggest that they are lacking sufficient information to pursue you for anything so most likely will have sold your account for another bunch of lowlifes to have a go!
If a simple SAR was enough to send them scurrying then you know you should have any new DCA on the back foot.

They have responded saying that they have not received any money from me, ARGH
*deep breath*
I have just replied with the dates that I made the payments and the fact that I made the payments via my internet banking so I will be able (dear god I hope) be able to prove that the money was sent to them. I have also told them I am making official complaints as I think this is disgusting......
