Did anyone see the BBC news item on Zopa? Lend or Borrow without the banks, using an Ebay type barter for interest rate set.

    Saw it, was already registered, it can be interesting if you're interested in say lending for five years at an estimated 10% after bad debt. For smaller amounts and terms the regular saver accounts are best for lending, generally.

    For borrowers the credit scoring appears to be very strict.

    Hi Ive just registered they wouldn't lend to me but I applied for the £30 to lend to others free and I get the cash back, thinkin gof giving it a go to make some cash, usually make around £75 per month average on ebay so thinkin gI could throw this in instead of leaving it in paypal. If anyone has any lending exp. would be grateful
