What was the receipt for then?

Otherwise, phew... and good for you having a chat with him. :T

Try to be a bit more open with each other in the future.

Do tell him he would be very welcome on the board, even if it's just for support while you're both paying off your IVAs.

yes the Consumer action that contacted your partner piggy back of the good name of the consumer action group (who do a lot of good). if you search round you will see other threads about them, they have been told off in the past but they still continue, they tell you you have been mis-sold and IVA witout knowing all the facts about your circumstances (im sure there will be some people out there that shouldnt be in an IVA) and charge massive fees just to do a bit of paperwork for you

Tigerfeet - Do you mean him or me? I'm self managing my DMP. My OH has IVA with Blair Endersby.

debtinfo - massive fees....£1250 to be exact!

He's been looking at the board with me tonight. I had to laugh, he's going to try to get PPI back from a loan quite a while ago. It was when he said who should he use to do this for him! I told him to read everything on this whole site.

    Thanks all.
