Pension question

Options
Hi- just wondered if anyone knows if you can claim back the cash you've put into a pension so far? Mine is a local government scheme.

Probably better to ask your pension administrator than to ask advice on an open forum. Pension plans vary.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

Schemes do very so you would have to check with your HR department to find out for sure. It is quite common for a firm to allow you get a refund of contributions within 2 years. It will only be the contributions made by you and the firm (government in this case) would get their contributions back. You need to check if this is really worth it. I doubt it is personally.
