Peter Kay's The Sound of Laughter £7.99 delivered

Had the latest booklet from The Book People posted today. In small print at the top of the order form they'd added that they were selling Peter Kay's autobiography for £7.99.

I checked their website a few days ago before buying one from Asda at £9.50 but it isn't on their website. You have to click on the 'quickshop' tab at the top right hand side of any page and enter item code: 577-PEY this brings the book up. Or you can ring them on 0870 6077740 to order over the phone. I've ordered one and my copy from Asda will be going back!


If you use the free p&p code on the online vouchers board you don't have to pay any postage.

On the homepage you will a picture of the book with a price of £9.49. If however you do a search for "Peter kay" then the same book comes up as £7.50 !!!

There would then be p&p. For an order of 1 item, you will be charged £1.00, for orders with 2 items, you will be charged £2.00. Any orders with 3 items or more are sent to you FREE of postage and packing charges.

However, they are also doing free p&p with anything from the half price section. Yesterday I ordered the latest Lemony Snicket book for my youngest stepson (£3.49!) which then gave me the free p&p and then I added the Peter Kay book (£7.50!)

Total cost of 2 books delivered £10.99!! Bargain!!

I haven't used bookgiant, but BOL were v.very slow on delivery.
