Does anyone know how to get rid of a Stye? I've got one this morning, and its really sore. I am going into hospital on Friday for an op, and its probably come up because I am nervous and not sleeping well (well thats what my mum would say!!)
Any advice?
Thanks Frizz

I had a stye recently and went to the pharmacist for advice.
**Edited by mini** to take out specific advice
Hoping that as this advice came to me from a pharmacist, I'm not contravening Martin's sticky post above...Baby #1 due December '05

Have you looked at NHS Directs webpage
NHS Direct
A search for stye produces 1 result & information. Advice giving on here can't be encouraged however well meaning it is.
You can also ring NHS Direct 0845 4647 for more personal advice.

No worries frizz, we'll all learn together what the health board is for:)
I am going to lock this thread to prevent any specific further advice being given.
