Yes, that's the card.
Likely not to be a big deal getting another card because the payment problems will be more in the past then than now.
Once it gets close to the end of the deal for the first card you can work on how to clear what's left or shift it to another 0% deal. Depending on how much of your normal expenses you can put on a 0% for purchases card you could go for one of those a few months before the first deal ends. Then put all of your normal spending on the purchase card while you save the money to clear the first one. This is cheaper than a balance transfer because you don't have to pay a balance transfer fee.0 -
Gotcha. I'll fill out an application. One more thing, do you state how much you would like in the card in the process, or do they say how much you are allowed once you are approved?0

Rejected for the Virgin credit card!0

Drat. There's a non-application way to check with Barlaycard. That will tell you which, if any, of their cards they think you're able to get and you can decide before going on to apply. Like Zopa this uses a quotation search so it won't have a significant effect on your credit score.
If you aren't offered any cards from Barclaycard with a 0% or other low cost deal then I think you should conclude that the late payments are too recent and will block any other good deals that you might apply for. Trying again in six months should help. Maybe worth one more try in three months - perhaps the Barclaycard check without application one.
If the card provider lets you say how much you want you can do that but they will make their own decision on how much they are willing to offer.0 -
Yes, drat indeed! Tried the Barclay Card one and no success there either.
I will wait a few months I think. Thanks for your help0 -
Seems like a good plan. Good luck with those!0
