Am I a first time buyer?

The individual lenders all define 'first time buyer' differently (as they define many definitions differently) - the OP would (based on our current information database) pass as a 'first time buyer' for at least the majority of lenders, without any need to misrepresent his position in any way.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. OP why do you want a Skiptons mortgage? Their rates are shocking. Over 6% while base rate is 0.5%, big arrangement fees and a rate of base + 4.5% when the fix ends. Truely awful deals.0

I have a property to sell overseas, but I'm desperate to purchase a home in a rural(ish) location, and a very rare opportunity has arisen. I'm looking for something that can get us in there with a low deposit, with the intention of selling the overseas property and paying off the mortgage within 2 years. That was my reasoning behind it. I'm no expert at these things, so any advice would be appreciated!0
