Tax relief on pension (higher tax earner) how to claim back

I'm a higher tax earner and paying 5% of my salary into a stakeholder pension. My company tops this up by a further 10%.
It shows clearly on my March payslip that I have paid x amount into the pension this year and also the total tax I have paid.
When I entered this into the calculator on listentothetaxman (along with tax code and total salary this year), it shows that I've paid £1,100 too much.
Is that calculator correct? I would think this is because I only get tax relief on the basic rate, not the higher rate?
How can I claim this back. Can I ask for a £1.100 cheque from HR?? I'd rather have a cheque than adjusted tax code
Any advice?

You either have to talk to the tax man and get him to change your tax code, or, fill in a Self Assessment form at the end of the tax year.
If you fill in the SA then you can opt to have the excess tax paid back to you by cheque, or you can opt to have your tax code for next year adjusted so you get it back over the following 12 months.0
