The unsecured loan company

Anyone had any dealings with these? They have offered a loan at a decent rate but could not tell me the APR(?) and wanted £59 to process the loan! As the loan is "agreed in principle" I think they will take the money then claim the APR is horrendous or that they can only find a lender who will agree to a lower amount!

On principle I said I would think about it and would call them back, but anyone who wants a broker fee for arranging a loan up front rings alarm bells in my head!

They will be a bunch of shysters who will take the "fee" and offer you complete rubbish loans at horendous rates...and that's if you're lucky.

The will also pass on your details to the bottom feeders who will plauge you will calls.

I think your right! Just had a call from them after I posted a question on the website (unsecuredloanco.net). The can't tell me the APR (why not?) and they can't ask the lender for it! I think it is run away time! Anyone recommend a good loan brokerage?

Try zopa.com, ratesetter.com or your own bank, depending on your credit history. If they won't lend, find your local credit union. If they won't lend, you're stuffed without paying massive interest to a bottom-feeder.
