I took a loan out in 2006-my relationship had just broken down after 7 years and I Was struggling to pay the mortgage and bills alone I applied for a loan through a third party finance company who were working with HSBC for a loan I was invited to a gruby office where 1 girl spoke to me and told me it would cost as much to take a loan for 2grand as it would if I took one for 10 grand,she then left me in the room for an hour and a guy came and hassled me to make a decision on the 10 k loan telling me they would not lend me under 5k but 10k was my best option due to the payments being the same,-they told me if i left before signing they would not consider me again-so much so i signed-I ended up falling behind with payments and going through the C A B who represented me and it ended up them putting a charge on my property-to the tune of 26k-10k plus interest-this will take me 25 years to pay -Iam desperate to know can I do anything to have it removed or come to some agreement to have it reduced-I have been paying it now for 3 years and have never missed a payment-Iam desperate I think about it all the time.:(
