Hi There
Just joined this chat room and need some advise from you all there. I have a unit linked policy with Barclays Life Assurance Company
Start date: 26 July 1993
Maturity: 26 July 2018
Sum assured: £62558.00
Surrender value on 24/11/06 is £20,906.09
Monthly premium £144.31 which goes up by £4.37 each year until max £172.31 till year 21st.
I want to sell this policy instead of surrendering it and would like to know what is the best option and which companies would deal with this kind of unit liked policies for selling. Any advise is much appreciated.
Regards

You cannot sell as it has no retained future value. It has a daily value and is worth what it is worth on that day.
Its a bit like saying here is a £10 note, how much can I get for it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Dunstonh is correct. There are no endowment traders that I know of that are interested in unit linked policies.
