Admin fee from catalogue?

I have a catalogue from JD Williams, while I know most things can be a rip of they do have some fairly decent half price offers occasionally which I buy and pay of on credit however while I never miss a payment I notice every month £12 admin fee, I phoned up to enquire and was told that was the price of credit:mad: Can this be right? I also read on the statement
"A late payment fee of £12 may be charged for payments not received before the due date"
So even if you do pay before the due date your still charged £12 anyway, Is there anyway I can get these £12 charges back?

If your payments are made before the due date, check your statement for the due day and when they recieved these, if you are correct and you have paid on time, then you should ask for the charges back. On the other hand if it is a "service charge" this is the interest that they charge for the balance you owe, and you cannot claim this back.0

You need to carefully check the terms and conditions. If you find that they have charged you in a way that isn't in the T's&C's you need to complain to them in writing. If that still doesn't bring you any joy you can escalate it to the FOS.I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

my dads catalogue premier man (same group of catalogues) did the same ..and i paid it day before due date and got charged £12 late payment charge ..... they say it takes 3 /4 working days to reach them and i should allow for this
Thay also charge a high % interest of what you owe for service charge if you don't pay in full every month
for example if your balance is around £ 250 and pay say £25 they will add on about £12 service charge back on each month0 -
If you pay before the due date the system does not take into account that a payments been made when the statement is produced.
So you will be still expected to make the min payment as requested.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0
