Bargain stag doo ideas

Please can I wrack your clever, budget-conscious brains out there?
Our wedding is in just over 5 weeks and this weekend I am going on my hen doo.
Now, I am very lucky and have friends who can afford to spend a penny or two on a weekend away with me, doing exciting things (I hope, I have no idea what is going to happen!). However, my H2b's brother-who is his best man-doesn't have much money to spare, so is saying he can't afford to organise a stag doo of any sort.
I have no problem with him saying he doesn't have the money, but I'm sure there must be things out there that they could do that wouldn't cost the earth.
Please can I have your suggestions? If you need an area, Dorset/Wiltshire/Hampshire would be great.
Thank you

A weekend camping with the boys. Sitting round a campfire with beers bought from the supermarket. Not expensive but a good opportunity for good quality time with the lads that will be memorable.

Challenges with photographic evidence. Just saw this story on daily mail
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1368736/Facebook-Supermarket-Scrabble-game-peppering-shelves-rude-words.html I am sure that could be adapted whilst they are in buying beer/snacks etc. A Scavenger type hunt ?

Camping sounds a good idea if someone has a tent or two.

The camping idea is a good one!

My H2B went away for the weekend and just had a few beers and went to watch his team play football. They stayed in a travelodge- got the rooms in the sale - I think it cost about £25pp for the two nights! The ticket to the football was £16 (second division club!) and then there was just travel an beers.

  • My brother in law's family are from New Zealand so quite a few of the people he wanted on his stag do, like his brothers and dad, only came over a few days before and as there wasn't time to organise anything massive they went on a pub crawl around our local town. That worked really well as it was also a 'getting to know you' exercise as a lot of them hadn't met before, as well as being dirt cheap at the cost of about £20 each.

  • With paintballing depends when he is doing it. OH had his stag at the weekend and came back with 70 brusies! Best not to do it too close to wedding!

I think camping is a good idea! x
