More confusion over bank holidays

Deeply deeply confused.

I work 36 hours over five days (6hrs Monday, 7.5 hours Tue to Fri).

When bank holidays are on Monday's, does this mean I lose out on bank holidays or gain? Should I be "asking" for two hours time off to compensate, or am I gaining in some way?

As of 1st April I will only be working 4 hours on a Monday and I can't help but think I'm missing out on some time when bank holidays to me should be worth 7.5 hours (if they fall on any other day than Monday?)

Thanks.....

You would only lose out if you worked at a company where bank holidays are paid in addition to statutory holiday pay and your working days didn't fall on a bank holiday.

If they're not paid in addition then as long as you are getting 190.4hrs holiday per year, you're not losing out.
