Credit Report

I hope I'm in the right forum for this!!
I have recently retrieved my credit report on line. THe majority of my payments have a green 0, which means I pay them on time, but two of them are naughty red 8s. One started in september 2003 and shows up as "satisfied" and was defualted in march 2004. THe other started in may 2002 is "satisfied" and was defaulted in Aug 2004. They are both store cards, is there anyway I can get these off my report? I was a poor student at the time, and am now working full time and am very good and pay all my bills on time!
I also have about 4 addresses as I moved into a different house for each year I was in university, can I get them removed if they are effecting credit rating?
I can't get credit at the moment (and have never had a credit card), and was hoping that doing either of these may help me!
Thanks.

You can only get things removed that are inaccurate. Your best bet is to take steps to start improving your credit rating, such as getting on the electoral roll at your current address, and getting a credit card (Even one with a high Apr) and paying it off in full each month.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

You could obtain a credit card from Capital One to improve your credit rating but be careful to pay it off each month as the APR has now increased. As far as I am aware the defaults stay on for 6 years from the date of the default so I am told.0

Thanks for your help! I am on the electoral register at my permanent address, and I will try for the credit card, however, I've never been given one before, as I always get declined! I will try though! Thanks again!0
