I would say It's a "Must Buy" for any lads aged 7-15, and they'll be lucky if they get to read it as every other male in the house will spend hours reading it.
Absolutely ace - everything from making paper aeroplanes to tree houses, hunting rabbits, playing marbles, great biographies of people like Douglas Bader, how to play chess, kiss girls, skin and cook aforementioned rabbit........................... I could go on and on..........................

i bought it for my 8 year old and i've dipped into it more than he has.
It's a great book and has a lovely sort of retro feel to it. Fantastic variety of topics covered, and definitely something for everybody (probably even girls, lol)
Can't wait till volume 2.0 -
my 7 year old daughter loves it!!! She's not girly though!0
