When you have a cough mix it with Honey and Lemon and it's the BEST remody ever (as it does not suppress the cough and get's it off your chest fast, therefore avoiding chest infections).

Experience: 6 - 8 Chest infections a year (for 5 years) until I started taking the above... now I have had 1 since then (7 years)!

Delia's Truffle Torte uses liquid glucose - I remember the run on it when the Christmas series was first shown!

What about substituting it for the sugar syrup in a fruit shake recipe?

One of my favourite things about SE Asia are the scrumdidlyumptios fruit shakes . Have had reasonable success replicating them at home following the basic guidelines here

Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?

FIL used to be a sugar boiler, he still makes the odd batch of peanut brittle ~ fab it is ~ and he always uses glucose syrup, or powdered glucose.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
