How to enter:

1. Go to https://www.google.co.uk and search for ‘Jobs in London’. (If you want to do this without leaving this page, you can always open a new tab in your browser, and then come back when you’ve found the answer).
2. Click on the totaljobs.com link within the search results.
3. Find out how many jobs are currently available in London on totaljobs.com. The easiest way to do this is to enter “London” as the location in the search box on the home page. This number may change slightly from day to day so variations will be accepted.
4. Enter your details and answer to the question in the form below.

No need to cross your fingers, remember - it’s not luck it’s totaljobs.com!

It says variations will be accepted, but as this runs for a month, it might be best to check on the day that you enter (If I remember (highly, highly unlikely), I will check and update) Link to check number of jobs is the second link.

Total number of London jobs as at 1[STRIKE]4:23 on 22/03 is 19429 [/STRIKE] 18:19 on 17/04 is 18723

As onehilltreegirl said in her first post, the number is going to change and variations will be accepted.

It's probably up to each individual entrant to find out the number him/herself than for them to copy the number of other posters.

I just refreshed the page I was searching earlier, and it shows this:

Your search found 19471 London jobs as at 16:02 on 22/03. Tinkly, where did you get 21 thousand odd from, and what on earth has the miles got to do with anything? :cool:

well they want jobs in london so i would figure that they wouldnt want a search done with any amount of miles

But the search box has a default of "Within 5 miles".

I imagine a LOT of peeps will leave that untouched.

exactly and 5 miles out of london isnt london and they said they wanted jobs in london not in london and 5 miles outside of london

I do believe it's all the same competition. The terms and condition state that it's a maximum of one entry per person.
