I've never done that before, can't be needed as I've never had a problem before, if you get the sloes after a heavy frost you're not supposed to have to pierce them either.linlin wrote:Cut some of the sloes in half to check for bugs. Or lets put it this way, I've never actually tasted the grubs anyway......... or maybe I have and they tasted nice
