Seeking advice on Tesco bargains

Hi there
I will be driving past a Tesco's tomorrow so plan to do my weekly shop there. I haven't been to a tesco for years (none near me) so I don't know what the bargains are. I'd be very grateful for tips on cheap stuff to buy for family meals, school lunches and even Christmas presents.
Thanks for any help you can give.
