I'm going off on a tangent here, so apologies, but can I rectify this?
In theory, you might be able to.
I practice, it can be a bit of a fight.
Would really need to know much more detail about your payment history on the account around the time you first had trouble paying it back, and what you and the creditor did and/or agreed to once you had?
