X box 360 games £10

Dont know if this has been posted before, just tried something and it worked, added 2 xbox 360 games to basket on the promo £29.99 each and get 2 for £39.99
Then removed one from basket at checkout and got charged £10 for the remaining one! Copied email confirmation below:

Definately working, you have to add 2 of the ones on the £39.99 deal to your basket and reserve them when you get to the final stage of reservation remove the 29.99 one and the £10 one reamains at £10 hope this helps

How strange I ordered and received confirmation email for PGR3 and tried again twice to be told this is now out of stock. Will see what happens later when I go to try to pick up the one that has been confirmed?

The thing is when you reserve the price you pay is the price in the store at the time will this work on a collection item?????? or even on a delivery item???

I got it to work but not sure whether they will honour it in store


Check stock & reserve online, pay in-store when you collect.
If items are in stock, your reservation will be held in-store until the end of the next working day. Items marked may not be available for immediate collection in all stores but can usually be ordered in from the warehouse for you (subject to stock). Items which need to be ordered in are usually available for collection within 3 working days - the exact dates will be shown on your reservation. When you place your reservation, you will be given a reservation number to take to the store. Prices may change on a daily basis due to special offers. The price you pay will be the price in store on the day you collect and pay for your items.

Doesn't Argos make you pay the price instore when they check it thru the tills. Can see a lot of argy-bargy here
