Better off with the Heinz fridge packs in tesco $1.78 in asda £1.00.

Double the diff = £1.56 therefor 22p for 1 kilo of beans.

They have a shelf date till april 2012

Thanks OP - I do love my beans, LOL!! I went to buy some recently at full price and was amazed how expensive they were so always stock up now with specials - the Tescos/Asda DTD glitches are far too time comsuming for me to try and take on....!!

Even better, I was in Tesco Abingdon tonight and saw the beans marked at 2.45 per 4 pack or 2 for £2. Picked up 4 packs and they went through the till at full price of 9.80.
Went to c.s and collected dtd of £11.60 so Mr T paid me 1.80 to take away 16 tins of beans.
