Rest Breaks

Hello
Just a quick question please, tried to google it with no joy.

Can an employee give up their 'right' of a 20 min rest break after 6 hours? Obviously Employer permitting.

Im currently working 5.5 hours with no break but would like to increase my hours by 1 a day, without taking a break.

Does anyone know if this would be allowed?

Thanks

You can't legally give it up as this would allow employers to put pressure on employees to sign a waiver (much like the WTD).

Legally no however I would add that in reality I doubt there would be a problem if it was something you instigated.
